Bento Bag
The Bento bag was one of the projects from a recent sewing retreat.
Bento bags originated in Japan. They are also referred to as market bags, triangle bags, or origami bags. They are perfect for taking to the shops to replace plastic or paper vegetable bags, or even as reusable gift wrap.
It’s not a difficult make, but you really need to cut and sew accurately for the maths to work out. Take your time working through the instructions and you’ll get a lovely bag at the end.
Kits contain three fat quarters (20” x 22” / 50cm x 55cm) of fabric, which you will need to cut to size prior to sewing. Full instructions are also included.
